Storage Capacity Note: 50MB and ~5000 markdown files estimate is based on an assumption of ~50KB average file size per document, (50KB MD file can support between 1400-2000 words). Actual capacity may vary depending on your specific usage patterns and file content.
Frequently Asked Questions
How secure is my data?
Your data is protected with end-to-end encryption. This means your files are encrypted before they leave your device and can only be decrypted by you or those you explicitly share your files and secret with. Even if you do not provide a secret key, your data is uploaded/downloaded over secure ssl and is stored in a AES 256 encrypted storage.
Can I access my files offline?
Yes, you can access your files offline on any device where you have enabled sync. Changes will automatically sync when you are back online.
What happens if I exceed my storage limit?
You will receive a notification when you are approaching your storage limit. You can either upgrade to a higher plan or manage your storage by removing unnecessary files.
What if I want to discontinue the paid plans?
Within the trial period, you can simply cancel the subscription from your lemonsqueezy subscription management page. Post the trial period, if you are unhappy with the service, please reach out(support@cloudsyncnotes.com) and I will help you with a pro-rated refund.
Is there a file size limit?
Basic accounts can upload files up to 1MB in size. Pro and Ultimate accounts can upload files up to 10MB and 200MB in size respectively.
Can I use CloudSyncNotes with Obsidian Mobile?
Yes, you can use CloudSyncNotes with Obsidian Mobile.
Can I share my notes with anyone else?
No, CloudSyncNotes does not support collaboration or note sharing currently.
